At Block Island Ferry, we take the security of our customers information very seriously. For many reasons, we do not secure every page
but we do secure all pages with any sensitive information. These pages are secured for the original transmittion to you, as well as
your response to us.
Many customers may receive security warnings when using our site. This is due to the conveniences designed into our left menu including
Live Help and Block Island Weather.
It is safe to turn off these messages while using our site. Turning off these message can be accomplished with the following process.
- Locate and click on Internet Options from your Internet Explorer or from the Windows control panel.
- From within the Internet Options window, Select the Security tab.
- On the Security Settings page, locate Display mixed content.
- Change this option to Enable and click OK.
- On the Warning dialog, click Yes to accept the change.
